Dear Alpha Phi Sisters,
Well, it seems the older I get, the faster summers seem to go by. One good thing about it, though, the end of summer means the beginning of another fun year with the DuPage Valley Alumnae!

This year, we're combining some exciting new activities with some long standing favorites. We've also tried to schedule events on different nights to accommodate those members who have regular commitments on certain days. We hope you'll be able to join us at least once this year, preferably more!

We're also introducing 3 new fundraisers this year. We will be offering gift cards to a variety of stores through the Great Lakes Scrip Center. A full explanation can be found on a separate page of this newsletter. We're hoping to raise a lot more money for our philanthropy and foundation with this program. We hope to see all members participate in this simple endeavor. We are also expanding our talents into making and selling fleece blankets to the local Alpha Phi chapter at Elmhurst College. Lastly, we are looking for donations for a spring garage sale. All proceeds will be added to the Foundation fund.

Whether you can join us for one activity or ten, we look forward to seeing everyone this year. Please don't hesitate to call or e-mail me with any questions or ideas. Everyone's input is always welcomed and appreciated.
